Assalamualaikum
Salam sejahtera...hmmm..It's been 2 weeks now I'm working in my new office which is in Plaza Masalam Section 9 Shah Alam. Good thing about my new company is that I have a lot of opportunities to expand my career in the field of architecture. Contrary to my previous office, my new office do take into consideration my views in shaping the future of the company. Thus instill my love for this company. I feel as if this company is my own. When you have the love for the office you're working for, you'll tend to like your job very much and do not mind sacrificing time. Which in this case very much true. Being in an Islamic environment makes it even better. The whole purpose of work does not limit to worldly matters but also the Day after.
I've never been much of a workaholic. I like to rest a lot if I'm entitle to it. But I think that will change from now. I may turn into a workaholic!!!!....Scary thoughts...heheheh...But then again I don't mind since I'm not married and don't have a 'family' to return to anyway...well, except for may parents of course..(I still live with them)..
I am, if you want to know in charge of my subordinates which include a designer, a draughtman and 2 trainees. Which means that I am the head of the design department while my boss is the manager. I am responsible in monitoring everybody's work progress so as not to deviate from plan. A huge contrast from my position in the previous office which I am merely a worker bee....I hear and I obey...Now I'm more of a leader than a doer. So I have to read a lot on management matters. Who says managing people is easy? Humans are the difficult commodities to manage.
Well, that's about it then...gotta work tomorrow...
