Looking Back

Assalamualaikum,

Looking back the year 2008 has been a very fruitful year for me. I managed to score every goal that I've set in late 2007.

1. Buy a new laptop - bought
2. Downpayment for a new car - manage to buy in late October 2008
3. Flight to Ireland - went to Dublin, Paris & London in mid June 2008.

There were a few surprises too,

4. Gotten engaged - but has ended & there will be no wedding bells anytime soon.
5. Enlisted in Masters program - quite surprised at being accepted as I was doing it on a whim actually.

But the ending of 2008 and 1429H was quite a horror that are beyond words - the bombing of Gaza, Palestine. I imagine that if was there at this point of time, I will not survive. Having living in 'luxury' in Malaysia, I think my soul is not strong to face the adversity there. If I were in the middle of the bombings, I tell you I will just stand there rooted to my place without moving as if thinking this is just a dream. I can't read the papers or watch the news - my tears will fall. A glimpse of pictures tells me how despicable & monstrous the Zionist are. I condemn all of you to HELL!!!
