Assalamualaikum,
Lately these 2 weeks, my health are not in a good shape. I mean, I get wind easily and that will cause me much discomfort! You see, I can't seem to expel wind out of my body and it makes me feel nauseous,stomach ache, headache, etc. When I look back, I think because I've stopped jogging these last 2 weeks. But I still do some minor exercise like climbing 100 steps of stairs 3 times a week. But I think that's not enough.
And another factor is because I'm drinking less water than I should have. Normally, I drink 1-2 liter of water per day. But since I'm working in two places with no permanent office space, I tend to forget to stock up on plain water. Plus I'm back to eating a lot of fatty food - KFC, Secret Recipe, but no rice. I don't eat rice much.
Yesterday, I went back to my routine jogging for at least 45 minutes a day (approximate 3km distance), 5 times a week. Being single does allow me to have this time for myself at the moment because I don't have to rush back home to attend to family matters.
I remember the first time I went jogging, my whole body ache and I can't move a muscle for 2 days. I feel as if I'm about to pass out since my heart was beating fast and my lung couldn't expand large enough to take in oxygen. But I pushed on since my housemate also went for jogging. After 2 weeks of walking and jogging, I manage to at least jog non-stop for a distance of 1km. What an achievement! I didn't lose weight immediately but at least I manage to stave of 3kg for 2 weeks. But then it came back :D Blame it on good food! And it kinda stayed there :P
Anyway, I now don't feel too strenuous when doing heavy work or walking for miles or climbing up stairs. When your body has accustomed to exercise, you feel that doing it is becoming easier. All I have to do now is eat better & maintain my routine.

agree, susah betul nak maintain exercise. weekend ni ada plan gi jogging. patutnya takdelah sampai kena plan mcm ni. patutnya ada rutin.. haih..

Kalau korang nak tahu, the last time I exercised was during my schooling years which ended in 1996.
Masa belajar kat UiTM, belajar silat cekak, so tak penat sangat pun. Maknanya exercise betul2 masa sekolah je.
Meaning, I haven't exercised for 14 years! Somehow, last year I realised I wasn't fit. The main objective of exercising for me is to be fit & not thin. Of course losing some of this excess weight would be a bonus to me :D
So with encouragement from my housemate (who is already thin), I pushed on. I started with fast walking then graduated to jogging. Within 1 month, I feel fit. Kalau turun naik tangga tu ok la. Sbb staf akak yg kurus kering pun tercungap2 naik tangga bangunan 3 tingkat.
Both of you can do any exercise as long as kita keluarkan peluh.

Same as me. Saya pun agak malas excersie and easly get worn out while doing it. Main volley ball dekat pantai. Letih. Cuma I love running by the beach early in the morning. Doing some light excersie. My hub on the contraty LOVE excersing and working out. Risau perut dia kot. Hehe. Opss.
Suami saya kata, badan saya banyak toxic kot sebab tu cepat penant dan mengantuk.

kak huda, saya pun sama, ahaha. masa kat U pula, aktif juga lah berpersatuan, asyik ke hulur ke hilir itu ini. ni asyik ngadap PC, rasa malasnya, ya Allah! sekarang ni panjat tangga kat office time rajin jer (!)
