Minor Operation

Assalamualaikum

My housemate just had a minor operation this morning at Slim River Hospital to remove a growth in her breast. The doctor told her it was harmless, but with onset of age (we're in our 30's) there is a chance of the growth becoming cancerous.

She discovered the lump last December and was told to come in January for testing. Yesterday, the doctor told her the result of the test and informed that a minor surgery can be done the next day (today).

My housemate was nervous of the upcoming surgery that we slept at 3am in front of the TV (it was on till we woke up at 6am). She went to the hospital & came back home few hours later.

She told me what was done & what the doctor took out. The growth was sent for further testing. I still cringe at hearing her recollecting the story - especially the part where the 'bius' had not set in yet & she could feel 'ngilu' of the surgical knife slicing the skin. The incision started to bled out when she was home and it was quite a lot.

I may bring her back to the hospital tomorrow if it still bleeds tonight.
