Assalamualaikum,
Final preparation before departing to 'somewhere' I bought few books. Few books that cost me RM250. That's my book stock for the month of June actually. And 2 books will be my gift to my husband-to-be during the akad nikah ceremony.
Apalah kan, orang lain bagi jam ke, bagi cincin ke, saya bagi buku pulak. Well, I have to give him something back after 'sarung cincin'ceremony later on, but I cannot for the love of God waste my money on something that he doesn't wear. So finally after nearly 1 hour browsing through books, I bought 2 for him. Why book do you ask? Well, he is a PhD holder in Arabic Language so he loves reading. During the early stage of our relationship, he gave me a book. And I know he has loads of books, so why not add more to the collection. Furthermore, that is the only gift for my-husband-to-be. The other gifts is intended for his family.
