The story goes like this:I saw an advertisement in the paper about the launching of the new Myvi SE schedule on 12/10/08. The picture was this orange coloured Myvi. I remarked to my brother, this colour looks ugly.
That same night, my father asked me if I wanted to see the launching of the new Myvi SE as he has a friend working in Perodua Showroom (this was after we saw the
teaser on TV).So the next morning off we went to the showroom. All the way there, my father said there is no obligation for me to buy (of course I had another car in mind).
After about 2 hours at the showroom, I decided I wanted to buy. Then came the colour choice. At first I wanted Pearl White. Then after I took another round looking at the car, I decided for black color. Then after yet another round, I finally decided on Tangerine Orange (after much thinking and making the salesman 'pening' with my indecisiveness)
When we arrived home I asked my brother to guess the colour that I chose. He laughed at me for choosing the orange colour. For it was just the day before that I said it was an ugly colour and I said that I will never choose that colour!
But in real life, it is a nice colour. It is a brighter shade than the Proton Gen-2 but not as dull as the Picanto.
After driving for a few days, I can say that I like it. But the smell of leather is still strong. Gives me headache sometimes.
