Love Hate Relationship

Assalamualaikum,

I must confess that I have a love hate relationship with Malay novel. I love it because nowadays you get good quality Malay novels but I hate it because those novels never fails to make me cry (sometimes my eyes get swollen) and I can't put it down because the story lines are good.

So what I do is, I read it at night when everyone has gone to sleep so that they can't see that I'm bawling my eyes out (sob..sob) At times I have to stop reading Malay novels for a while and read other genre.

Oh! I do read English novels. But those are mostly mysteries, detectives & adventures. So no crying there. My favourite authors are Mary Clark Higgins (Queen of Mysteries), Patricia Cornwell (Kay Scarpetta series), Clive Cussler (NUMA series) and Ann Chee Min (Empress Dowager series). Somehow I'm not into family & chic lit genre for English novels.
